Inspired by the mystical visions of Ayahuasca — also known as Yagé in some native cultures — Hoje é Anjo Yagé (H.A.Y.) is a book of linguistic experimentation, ranging from minimal poetry to concrete glossolalia. It seeks to access expanded states of perception and consciousness, mirroring the entheogenic experience of mirações — the psychedelic visions triggered by the interplay between the brew, its rituals, and its setting.

In July of 2018, Editora Hedra launched through its contemporary poetry label Ed.Lab with the curatorship of Claudio Willer a collection of six new radical poets with a collection of books named New Contemporary Voices. Among the titles of the collection is JP Mognon (a.k.a. João Mognon) with its first printed poetry book Hoje é Anjo Yagé (H.A.Y.).
